Revealed: Roberto Firmino will earn huge money if he scores for Liverpool v West Ham

Roberto Firmino’s contract

Poor Roberto Firmino must be furious at the continued leaks.

As part of the latest Football Leaks revelations, a few days ago it was revealed that Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has an anti-Arsenal clause.

Instantly, knowledge of the Firmino clause reminded football fans of when Arsenal tried to sign Luis Suarez from Anfield as per the Uruguayan’s release clause.

As we all know, the Gunners failed in landing Suarez – the football scene would look very different had that transfer happened – and since the Reds have inserted an anti-Arsenal provision in Firmino’s contract.

Firmino has a €98m release clause in his Liverpool deal, but there’s a catch as player is barred from accepting any offer from Arsenal.

Goal scoring bonus

On Sunday, fresh details from Firmino’s contract are made public regarding his bonus structure.

The Brazilian has already scored five goal in the Premier League this campaign.

According to his contract, as revealed by SportBild, if the Reds forward scores against West Ham on Sunday he will receive £45,000.

Moreover, if he scores 11 goals he is entitled to a £65,000, while 16 goals earns him £85,000.
